Dr. Sumit uses a dynamic and charismatic approach to Anatomy and Physiology training.
He takes a holistic approach to anatomy and has created a unique way of integrating the human body and yoga asana together to create a deeper understanding of how we move and why we don’t all move in the same way. Based in Rishikesh, Dr .Sumit can be found teaching in a select number of Yoga Schools.

He manages to lift Anatomy training off the pages of books and makes it come alive in the classroom, specially devised and specific for Yoga Teachers and Yoga Practitioners. In addition to excellent teaching in Body Alignment, Practical Anatomy and Physiology, Sumit offers Anatomy Healing through the Chakras, Trigger Point Massage techniques and laughter, breath work and movement therapy.
Known affectionately as Govinda, Shobhit discovered Yoga in his early twenties.
After a few months of practicing, he knew that it was his passion. Teaching comes to him naturally and so his teaching style is straightforward and flexible.
Shobhit has studied with many inspiring teachers and different traditional schools as well as in ashrams like Shivananda ashram, the divine life society, Ashtanga, and Iyengar.
He experienced an ashram life where he was teaching Yoga and serving people. He extends this deep wisdom and knowledge in all of his teachings to you. He taught yoga in various schools for two years, where he was teaching Hatha and Vinyasa.
He is a certified E-RYT500 and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) from Yoga Alliance USA and continues to teach students from across the globe.
He believes that he also learns from his students through his teaching. His goal is to spread health and true happiness through Yoga.
Yogacharya Sandeep Pandey was born in a traditional Brahamna Family and was sent to Gurukul at the age of 8.
At the Gurukul he studied the Yajurveda and mastered all the 16 Samskaras along with Yogasana, Pranayama, Shat Kriyas etc.
He participated in many Yoga championships – winning prizes and awards for his excellence. However, his quest for knowing the inner self through yoga lead him to Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama where under the direct guidance of H.H. Swami Veda Bharati.
He studied and practiced the deeper and subtler aspect of Raja Yoga. He has been teaching Yogasana Philosophy, Meditation, Pranayama and Shat Karma to various students across the globe at Swami Rama Sadhka Grama.
Sandeep holds a master’s degree in Yoga and Indian Philosophy from Uttarakhand Sanskrit University.
He is a guest teacher at the Banaras Hindu University and also teaches at the International Yoga festival. His students are spread across many countries.
